Charting Stars for AI assistants.

Charting Stars is available as a connector for AI assistants, including ChatGPT, Claude and Muse. Connect the server, then ask for your birth chart and it is computed by the same engine as this site: timezone-correct, on VSOP87 and Meeus ephemerides, and checked in CI against Rodden-rated reference charts. The chart is free. Claude and Muse can also start a paid written reading when you ask for one.

Endpoint

Streamable HTTP MCP server, stateless, JSON responses: https://chartingstars.com/api/mcp. No authentication: the free tools are public, and paid readings are bought on a Charting Stars order page. Requests are rate-limited per client address.

Connect in ChatGPT

  1. Open Plugins and select the plus button, then Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it Charting Stars. Use https://chartingstars.com/api/mcp/chatgpt and select no authentication.
  3. Connect it, then ask for a birth chart in a new conversation.

This endpoint provides four free tools. It does not expose paid readings, subscription offers or checkout. Public directory review is pending submission.

Connect in Claude

  1. Open Customize → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web.
  2. Name it Charting Stars. Use https://chartingstars.com/api/mcp?via=claude and choose No sign in.
  3. Add the connector, then ask for a birth chart in a new conversation.

Claude uses all seven tools below. Public directory review is pending submission. These setup steps connect a custom server; they do not require a directory listing.

Free tools

  • cast_natal_chart — The natal chart from birth date, time and place: Sun, Moon and rising signs, every planet's sign, degree, house and retrograde status, Ascendant and Midheaven, whole-sign houses, and major aspects. With an unknown birth time it returns what holds all day and withholds the rising sign and houses rather than estimating them.
  • daily_horoscope — Today's horoscope for a sign (general, love, career, wellness), drawn from the current sky.
  • sign_compatibility — Compatibility between two signs, with love, friendship and communication scores.
  • current_sky — Every planet's current sign, degree and retrograde status, and the Moon phase.

Paid readings in Claude and Muse

  • get_reading_options — The written readings for sale, with prices and what each needs.
  • start_reading_order — Saves an order with the buyer's birth details and delivery email and returns a link to it. The buyer reviews the details and pays there through Stripe (card or Link). The call itself charges nothing.
  • get_reading_status — Where an order stands: awaiting payment, being written, or ready with its reading link.

Readings available through the connector:

  • AI Natal Report ($19.99) — A long-form written reading of the whole natal chart: every planet by sign, house and aspect, delineated for this chart alone. Saved to a permanent private link with PDF download, and emailed.
  • Premium Natal Reading ($49.99) — Everything in the AI Natal Report, plus three chapters from the same chart: love and relationships (what the chart asks of a partner and of closeness; one chart, not a compatibility reading), career and vocation, and the next three months of slow-planet transits and stations to the chart, each with its computed dates. Without a birth time, houses and angles are left out.
  • Vedic Reading ($19.99) — A written Jyotish reading of the sidereal (Lahiri) chart: Moon nakshatra, the grahas in sidereal signs and houses, and the Vimshottari dasha sequence with the current period in depth.
  • Year Ahead Reading ($59.00) — A twelve-month timing forecast from the chart: profected time lord, Solar Return, transits, progressions and Zodiacal Releasing peaks, written quarter by quarter.
  • Synastry Reading ($29.00) — Two charts overlaid: every cross-chart aspect, house overlays both ways, and a composite Sun/Moon portrait, read as one relationship.
  • Composite Reading ($29.00) — The relationship as its own chart: every body midpointed between the two people, with houses and internal aspects read as the bond's own dynamics.
  • Personalized Daily Horoscope ($4.99/month) — A daily horoscope drawn from the subscriber's own natal chart, emailed every morning. Monthly subscription, cancel anytime.

Privacy

Birth details sent for a free chart are used to compute it and are not stored. An order stores the details and delivery email, as on this site. See the privacy policy.
