Your Big 3.

Before the houses, the aspects, and the three traditions, there are three placements that carry most of the weight: your Sun, your Moon, and your Rising. Astrologers call them the Big 3. The Sun is who you are at the core, the Moon is who you are underneath, and the Rising is who you appear to be on first meeting.

What is your Big 3 in astrology?

Your Big 3 is your Sun sign, Moon sign, and Rising sign (Ascendant). The Sun is your core self, the Moon is your inner emotional world, and the Rising is the mask you meet the world with. Together they form the spine of a birth chart.
