♏︎ Scorpio — today's reading.
This is a whole-sign column from today's sky to Scorpio — shareable as the observatory card above, and honest about what it is not. If your Moon or Rising is a different sign, cast a free chart to see the natal Big 3, or browse Sun · Moon · Rising combinations. All twelve signs sit on the daily horoscope hub. The sky this column reads is on the Dial for October 30, 2026, where it can be dragged to any other day.
This Scorpio column is a tropical, one-sign letter from today's sky. Moon today is the current Moon's sign, phase, and next lunation — not the natal Moon that would recast this column, and not Scorpio as a natal Moon sign. A sidereal Vedic birth chart and dasha timeline recasts a birth moment through Lahiri ayanamsa and Vimshottari, not a daily Sun-sign letter. Two charts in a relationship are the synastry calculator, not this one-sign overlay.
This column is a tropical one-sign daily letter from today's sky. The 2026 Mercury retrograde calendar is dated station and shadow windows, not a daily Sun-sign letter. The 2026 eclipse calendar is four dated solar and lunar maxima, not today's one-sign column.
A named-sign daily letter is not a natal calculation. How Charting Stars calculates birth charts is the natal pipeline: VSOP87, IANA historical timezones, and the Lahiri/Vimshottari layer. Einstein's birth chart in Hellenistic, Vedic, and BaZi is one 1879 natal read three ways — not this column's Sun-sign weather.
A one-sign weather letter is not a public fixture row. The Birth Chart Accuracy Test Set is 7 natal fixtures with named sources and deltas, not this column's Sun-sign forecast.
Mood, lucky number and lucky color are for fun: picks from a fixed list for each sign, varied by date, not read from the sky. The positions, the Moon's sign and aspect, and the transits named below are computed from the ephemeris.
Today's sky to Scorpio
Each row is a whole-sign aspect from a transiting body to Scorpio, computed from astronomia's VSOP87 geocentric series (Meeus for the Moon and Pluto) at this UTC instant — the same engine used on the rest of this observatory. Degrees are the transiting body's tropical longitude in its own sign. This page has no birth time or place, so it does not invent natal degrees.

The truth lives in the basement today, Scorpio; bring a flashlight, not an apology. Trine from the Moon: the day is unusually well-behaved. Use it for the thing you've been hesitating to start.
Overview
The truth lives in the basement today, Scorpio; bring a flashlight, not an apology. Trine from the Moon: the day is unusually well-behaved. Use it for the thing you've been hesitating to start. Pluto in Aquarius is square to Scorpio as a sign right now. Friday wants you to do something with your appearance, your space, or someone you love — pick one.
The bigger picture: Pluto in Aquarius (depth and transformation) is square to Scorpio right now — a sign-level square shared by everyone with Scorpio placements, not a contact to your personal chart. The friction is workable; move with patience.
Retrograde watch: Uranus in Gemini, Neptune in Aries, Saturn in Aries, Mercury in Scorpio, and Venus in Libra are retrograde — expect review and revision in those areas, not fresh starts.
Love & relationships
Single Scorpio: the slow burn is real this time. Don't rush the mystery; don't break it either.
Career & money
Jupiter in Leo is square to Scorpio as a sign right now. The negotiation you've been preparing for: today's the day. Quiet is the whole strategy.
Wellness
Sun in Scorpio is moving through Scorpio as a sign right now. Move intensely or not at all. Half-effort is the wrong dose for a Scorpio body today.
