♑︎ Capricorn — today's reading.
This is a whole-sign column from today's sky to Capricorn — shareable as the observatory card above, and honest about what it is not. If your Moon or Rising is a different sign, cast a free chart to see the natal Big 3, or browse Sun · Moon · Rising combinations. All twelve signs sit on the daily horoscope hub. The sky this column reads is on the Dial for October 9, 2026, where it can be dragged to any other day.
This Capricorn column is a tropical, one-sign letter from today's sky. Moon today is the current Moon's sign, phase, and next lunation — not the natal Moon that would recast this column, and not Capricorn as a natal Moon sign. A sidereal Vedic birth chart and dasha timeline recasts a birth moment through Lahiri ayanamsa and Vimshottari, not a daily Sun-sign letter. Two charts in a relationship are the synastry calculator, not this one-sign overlay.
This column is a tropical one-sign daily letter from today's sky. The 2026 Mercury retrograde calendar is dated station and shadow windows, not a daily Sun-sign letter. The 2026 eclipse calendar is four dated solar and lunar maxima, not today's one-sign column.
A named-sign daily letter is not a natal calculation. How Charting Stars calculates birth charts is the natal pipeline: VSOP87, IANA historical timezones, and the Lahiri/Vimshottari layer. Einstein's birth chart in Hellenistic, Vedic, and BaZi is one 1879 natal read three ways — not this column's Sun-sign weather.
A one-sign weather letter is not a public fixture row. The Birth Chart Accuracy Test Set is 7 natal fixtures with named sources and deltas, not this column's Sun-sign forecast.
Today's sky to Capricorn
Each row is a whole-sign aspect from a transiting body to Capricorn, computed from astronomia's VSOP87 geocentric series at this UTC instant — the same engine used on the rest of this observatory. Degrees are the transiting body's tropical longitude in its own sign. This page has no birth time or place, so it does not invent natal degrees.
