The homepage leads with daily, weekly, yearly, love, dating, and Chinese horoscopes, plus tarot and compatibility. It also ships a Free Birth Chart Calculator at https://www.astrology.com/birth-chart that asks for name, email, birth date, time, and place, and a Sun, Moon, and Rising calculator. Checking Get My Free Birth Chart agrees to emails from Astrology.com. The site publishes free and paid birth chart reports and says those reports are written and reviewed by professional astrologers. People still look for alternatives because they want a documented VSOP87 + IANA Big 3 with no account, a Swiss Ephemeris wheel, practitioner software, or beginner placement copy. Those are different jobs. This note does not rank a winner.

   Tradeoff: Whole-sign is the house system, and the free preview is the Big 3, not Astrology.com’s horoscopes and email-gated natal report. If you want daily sign columns and tarot on the same site, stay on Astrology.com.
3. Astro.com (Astrodienst) — The long-running web chart service from Astrodienst: Swiss Ephemeris positions, many house systems, many chart types, and optional human-written reports.
   Good for: Students who already know which house system they want and need a technical wheel they can print.

   Good for: A gentle first reading of placements, one paragraph at a time, plus free compatibility and transit reports, with no email account.
   Tradeoff: The text describes placements individually. It does not synthesize a whole chart the way a written reading does.

Pick Astrology.com if the job is mass-market horoscopes, tarot, and an email-gated birth chart. Pick Astro.com if the job is a Swiss Ephemeris wheel and a house-system menu. Pick TimePassages if the job is signed-in software you keep. Pick Cafe Astrology if the job is beginner placement copy.
